Louise Redknapp is one proud mother! She took to her Instagram page on Monday to share her delight over her youngest son Beau's latest achievement, which saw her eight-year-old boy become a mascot for Chelsea F.C. over the weekend. "So proud of my boy yesterday," she captioned the image alongside the hashtags, #chelseamascot and #handsome.

Fans were quick to heap praise on her little boy, whom she shares with husband and football player Jamie Redknapp. One follower wrote: "Aw, looks so cute, super proud moment I'm sure!... Chelsea though! Where's the Liverpool blood!" In reference to his father and his cousin Frank Lampard, one fan added: "Looks so fab, Dad what about LFC, has Uncle Frank been having some influence."

Louise and professional footballer Jamie, 43, married in 1998 and have since welcomed two sons together – little Beau and 12-year-old Charley. In October, the former pop singer opened up about her children, claiming her eldest is very much like herself, while the youngest takes after his father.

"Personality-wise, too," she told HELLO! Magazine. "I actually think the little one would be a great little singer and dancer. But football is prevailing at the moment." Speaking about their parenting skills, Louise revealed that Jamie was definitely the "tougher" parent. "Oh Jamie is much more strict than I am," she added.

"I will do anything for an easy life! He is brilliant, I have to say. If they want new football boots, they have to earn them. Our eldest is desperate for an iPhone and all his friends have got them and Jamie is like 'No, no, no.' He's like 'When I feel the time is right and you've earned one, you will get one. It has to be for Christmas, a birthday or when he has done something brilliant like done well in an exam."

After reaching the final of Strictly Come Dancing last month, Louise is back with her dance partner Kevin Clifton – where the pair are currently taking part in the nationwide tour of Strictly Come Dancing. Following the tour, Louise hopes to make a return to TV or even try the West End. She told The Express: "The thing that would be worth taking time away from my family for would be to do theatre in the West End. I'm not looking for TV stuff, although Loose Women would be fun. Appearing in the West End for a period is really what I'm looking for."
