Posting a photo of himself with his children at the museum, he wrote: "Nice day in NYC & a great few hours at the Natural History Museum. Keeping the littlest ones busy whilst mum works on the collection." He then shared a sweet snap of himself with his only daughter, Harper, while they looked at a butterfly together. He captioned the photo: "Natural History Museum. The Butterfly Room if you haven't been there trust me you need to go... But watch out for the HUGE blue ones." Fans were quick to praise the photos, with one writing: "They look happy and healthy...that is a good mum and dad job," while another added: "What a beautiful family you have! Congratulations." The retired footballer also shared videos of Cruz helping to make pizza from the evening before, cheekily captioning one clip: "Signor Cruz 🇮🇹. Gracie Mark."

David has previously opened up about the importance of family time, telling HELLO!: "My family is the biggest accomplishment I have. I'm so proud of Victoria and my children; they're my greatest achievement." He also spoke about his 17-year marriage to Victoria during an appearance of Desert Island Discs, explaining: "We all know marriage is difficult at times and it's about working through it… Do we stay together because it's a brand? Of course not. We stay together because we love each other. We stay together because we have four amazing children. Of course we go through tough times. When we go through tough times we work through it as a unit, as a family."
