Dwayne Johnson surprises riders on Jungle Cruise at Disney World

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson surprised an unsuspecting group of tourists at Disney World on Monday when he hopped on the historic Jungle Cruise ride. The Baywatch star documented his adventure on Instagram, posting a photo of himself on the ride while shocked shocked fans look on. Dwayne explained that he boarded the thrilling attraction because he "wanted to dive head first into the research" since he will be producing and starring in the film adaptation of the theme park ride.

The 44-year-old star revealed that he had a "GREAT day on the river" and even admitted it took a very long time for his fans to calm down after his unannounced appearance. “"It [took] approximately 12.6 minutes for all the passengers to get over the shock of me jumping on the boatthinking I'm a DJ look-a-like," Dwayne explained, adding that one passenger didn’t believe he was the real deal because "the real Rock is much smaller than this guy."

Dwayne can’t contain his excitement over his new project and expressed his delight over the impact it will have on families. "Best part about this surprise research day was knowing how FUN of an experience we're gonna work hard to create for families around the world," he stated.

 The Rock has been busy promoting The Fate of The Furious.

Dwayne has been one busy guy over the past year. He’s currently on a global press tour for his new film The Fate of the Furious and this spring fans will be able to catch him in the hotly anticipated Baywatch movie. If that’s not enough Rock-age, the actor will enter the world of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, alongside Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas and Jack Black, when the film hits theatres in December.
