Patrick Kielty's one-year-old son is ruling the roost! The comedian has opened up about the adorable little boy Milo he shares with his wife Cat Deeley, joking that he has slipped down the pecking order. "Milo basically runs the house," Patrick said during an appearance on Lorraine. "We call him the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air because he gets whatever he wants. You suddenly realise when you get married, you're number one. Then a kid [comes along] and you're number two, then a dog you're number three, and you spend your life going down the pecking order."

The first-time dad said that he even takes on jobs to have a break from his family life. "What I do now we have a small child, I pretend I have work so I can be on a long-haul flight on my own," said Patrick. "Long-haul flight with four gin and tonics, a Disney film and a cry."

The Irishman, 46, and his wife Cat, 40, welcomed their first child in January 2016. The couple were actually friends for years having starred in Fame Academy together, but then friendship turned into love and marriage. They said 'I do' in a romantic ceremony in Rome in 2012, after dating for 11 months. "I broke the rule of don't get your money where you get your honey," he said. "But we went there and what's good about it is whenever you're with one someone who's a mate to start with, you don't have to go through all that awkward dating. You just crack on!"

The family live in LA, where Cat feels right at home. The So You Think You Can Dance host has previously admitted that it would take a lot for her to return to the UK. Patrick, however, admitted that life Stateside took some time getting used to. "America is good. I'm not really a green juice man, I like a Guinness. If you have more than three drinks in LA they think you're a raging alcoholic. They say we really need to talk about your drinking," joked Patrick.
