Jamie Oliver is one lucky man. The TV chef is the proud patriarch of a loving family and on Easter Sunday, he couldn't resist sharing a beautiful photo of his entire brood. He uploaded a snap of his wife Jools and their five children, with baby River taking centre stage. The candid shot showed Poppy, 15, Daisy, 14, Petal, eight, and Buddy, six, all looking perfectly happy, while little River is the picture of cuteness in his dungarees.
Jamie wrote: "Happy Easter to all you loverly people, I really hope you have a wonderful day, From me and my clan here we send lotsa love to all my family who are scattered all around the world, to all my amazing friends which I never see enough of but we love you guys, to all my fantastic teams I have the great pleasure to work with...xxx...and YOU !!" He continued: "Yes You loverly people on Instagram, this platform is a very positive place in my life and my followers are super decent, I rarely get much negativity or trolls so thank you for positivity..... nice one @kevin @mikeyk who would have thought it would have ever been this cool right ?! .... big love jamie ox x x x x x x."
The family posed over Easter weekend
Jamie, 41, and his wife Jools welcomed their fifth child last August, and have been sharing the most adorable photos of their son ever since. Jools took to Instagram over Easter to post a hilarious snap of River laughing, with an egg decoration balancing on his head. "Thanks Pop now this is a bit of a cute pic," Jools told her eldest daughter.
One of Jamie's latest posts did cause some controversy among fans though. The picture showed River lying on his back on a tiled floor, prompting some followers to express their concern. "What's he doing on a cold tile floor?" one wrote, while another posted: "gorgeous baby... yes... but a stone floor... really?" Jamie's mum Sally also commented on the photo of her grandson, telling Jamie: "This adorable child! He looks so like you as a baby! But please get him off that hard floor now," with a series of smiling emojis.
Jamie and Jools welcomed River in August
Many other fans were quick to defend Jamie for sharing the photo, pointing out how happy River looked in the photo. "Why are folk worrying he's on the floor? Probably cleaner than some of yours! He's smiling, so obviously not in distress," one wrote, prompting Sally to reply and agree that she was only "teasing" Jamie about the photo. "You're quite right, the floor is very clean and River is very well cared for, I was only teasing Jamie," she replied.
