Many of the snaps were taken on tour with some of the music industry's biggest names, such as David Bowie, whose Sound and Vision tour in 1990 was covered by Dave. Other faces in the Hogie's Heroes exhibition include David Walliams and Sir Bob Geldof, who said: "I don't know anyone who doesn't like Dave and respect his craft/art and more importantly respect him as a person. A very good man who contributed hugely and magnanimously and continually to band aid/live aid by using his great skill for the benefit of others. He is a superb photographer."

"He is a superb photographer," said Bob Geldof

The images will be showcased around various areas of the hotel, and members of the public will be able to view the prints from 9am to 10pm every day, free of charge. The exhibition is being organised by Concorde Media to celebrate 40 years of Dave's photography in the industry.

Dave's prints are on eBay from 18 to 28 February. All proceeds go to Teenage Cancer Trust, The Haven + London and Cancer Research UK. Visit charity.ebay.co.uk.
