Lisa Armstrong unveiled a new blonde hair transformation earlier in the year following her split from Ant McPartlin in January, and now, the Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist has opted for another new change to her appearance. Marking her fresh start while out in LA, Lisa was pictured getting a tattoo on Wednesday at the famous High Voltage tattoo parlour, owned by Kat Von D. The 41-year-old appeared to be getting the ink work on her arm, and looked relaxed as she lay back in the chair, dressed in a white blouse and green printed trousers, and with her hair scraped up in a half-up bun.

While it appears that Lisa is having a great time in the States since she jetted over there earlier in the month, there is someone that she is missing quite a lot – her beloved pet dog Hurley. Although the chocolate Labrador is currently being looked after by Ant at his home in London, Lisa shared a sweet declaration to her "baby boy", sharing a picture of him on Instagram and writing besides it: "My baby boy #misshimsomuch."

Despite missing Hurley, LA appears to be doing Lisa a world of good, and she has been enjoying spending time with her former Deuce bandmate, Craig Young, and his husband Michael Di Girolamo, as well as taking a trip to the hairdressers to mark a new start. Lisa took to social media to show off her new blonde. "Blonde #LALife," Lisa wrote alongside the photo.

The trip has also come at a good time for Lisa following the heartbreak upon hearing that Ant had moved on with her former assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, via Twitter. The pair were spotted spending time together for the first time last month, and The Sun reported that Anne-Marie had been helping Ant with his recovery. They have since been pictured together on a number of occasions, including during a double date with Declan Donnelly and his pregnant wife Ali Astall.

After hearing that they were together, Lisa tweeted two broken heart emojis in reaction to the news, and confirmed that she hadn't been told about the relationship beforehand. She thanked one fan for her support, writing: "To think she was MY friend!" Former Blue Peter presenter Simon Thomas was among those to offer his support to Lisa, writing: "Grace through emojis. Love will find you again." Another follower wrote: "Sending you love and hugs, keep strong. The grass is never greener it's in the mud." A third added: "It will get better Lisa and hope you become happier than you have ever been."
