Peaky Blinders star Annabelle Wallis, 41, unveiled her glamorous maternity style during the Cannes Film Festival in the most dazzling little black dress. The actress jetted to the south of France with her famous partner, actor Sebastian Stan, for the Kering Women in Motion Awards during the film festival on Sunday night – and debuted her baby bump on the star-studded red carpet.
It was first reported in April that Annabelle, who is best known for playing Grace Shelby on the Netflix period drama, and Sebastian, of Marvel fame, are expecting their first child together after People published photos of the actress on a walk in New York with a visible baby bump. While the notoriously private couple have historically kept a low profile, Annabelle showed off her pregnant figure in Cannes in a flattering black maxi dress that hugged her belly.
Annabelle cradled her baby bump as she posed for solo photos in the flattering dress, which was covered in sparkles and plunged on the sides. The star wore a pair of matching black knee-high boots that peeked out beneath a thigh-high split on one side of the dress. Annabelle completed her glamorous get-up with bronzed makeup and her blonde tresses styled out in loose waves.
The Peaky Blinders star looked loved-up in photos alongside her partner Sebastian, who made a dapper appearance in a silky pinstriped suit for the A-list occasion. The couple have been romantically linked since May 2022, and while they have made the occasional comment and public appearance together, they've maintained a relatively private relationship.
Low profile romance
The pair didn't go red carpet official until January 2025 at the Golden Globe Awards, during which Sebastian gave a special shout-out to his girlfriend when he took home the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for his performance in A Different Man.
"Annabelle, I love you," he proclaimed on stage after walking the red carpet with his partner, who looked glamorous for the star-studded night in a sparkling pink gown.
The low-key couple have since walked several red carpets as an item, including attending the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party together. When asked about their private romance in an April 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, Sebastian said: "I feel like it’s really difficult nowadays to be able to have any privacy whatsoever."
"It’s the one part of my life that I try to keep somewhat for myself, even though it sort of ends up being out there," he added.
Sebastian wants to be a 'good dad'
While the couple haven't directly addressed the pregnancy reports, Sebastian opened up about fatherhood in a recent interview with Deadline while promoting his new film Fjord, which will premiere at Cannes and in which he plays a father on-screen.
"I want to be a good dad," the actor told the publication.
He later said: "I’m feeling the responsibility of being a good father. And not to mention a good man. I’m 43, and I feel, in a lot of ways, I’m just starting to learn now. It’s just crazy to me. So, I love when I see I’m discovering different people’s point of view. I try to read as much as I can, no matter what the point of view is, just to understand it."
