Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have issued a scathing statement in response to his sister Harper knocking on their door in LA amid the family feud.
The Beckham family was in Los Angeles this week to watch David receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Harper, 14, was photographed arriving at Brooklyn and Nicola's home, where she left a letter and then departed as the couple were in New York at the time.
Now, a representative for Brooklyn and Nicola has dismissed any hope of reconciliation and said they believe Harper's visit was a staged photo opportunity.
They told HELLO!: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras."
Harper arrived at the Beverly Hills property at around 2 p.m. local time, still wearing the pink midi dress and cardigan she had worn earlier that day to support her father.
She attended the ceremony alongside her parents David and Victoria and brothers Romeo and Cruz. Brooklyn's absence was highly noticeable given the ongoing tensions within the family.
The eldest Beckham child shared an Instagram post on Friday revealing he was in New York at the time of his family's LA visit.
The Cloud23 founder reshared an Instagram story featuring his friend Hunter Moreno, as well as a post from Friday that proves he was at the New York City Wine & Food Festival.
David thanks his children
Despite the ongoing estrangement, David made sure to thank all four of his children during his speech at the ceremony, saying they are the reason he "gets out of bed in the morning".
He said: "Most of all, I want to thank my incredible family. My parents and my sisters, who always supported my dreams. Victoria, my amazing wife for almost 30 years. Without whom, none of this would be possible or as enjoyable. And my beautiful children, who are the reason that I get out of the bed in the morning."
He added: "Kids - I'm going to get emotional now - I hope you bring my grandchildren here one day and tell them about a boy who dreamed big. To make you all proud is my greatest achievement. I'm so grateful for you all, thank you, and thank you so much for this honour, L.A., it means so much."
Estrangement
Brooklyn has been estranged from his family for quite some time. He released a bombshell statement in January confirming he did not want to reconcile with them.
He wrote: "I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life."
Brooklyn claimed his family had tried to interfere repeatedly in his relationship with Nicola and accused his parents of trying to influence public narratives around them.
He also alleged that Victoria had withdrawn from designing Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute, forcing her future daughter-in-law to find another gown.
