Brooklyn Beckham caught up with his famous godfather Elton John in the South of France while his estranged parents, David and Victoria Beckham, were on their own European getaway close by.
After he was pictured spending quality time with Elton on the singer's luxury yacht, Brooklyn shared photos from what appeared to be a small get together at his godfather's spectacular villa in Nice. The 27-year-old and his wife, Nicola Peltz, posed beside the Rocket Man singer for a sun-soaked group picture on the patio overlooking an outdoor pool and row of manicured trees.
Brooklyn looked relaxed in jeans and a backwards cap while his smiling wife Nicola stunned in a little black dress and sparkly wedge heels with her hair swept up in a bun.
"So lovely having you both to stay with us," Elton's long-time husband David Furnish wrote to Brooklyn in the comments.
Brooklyn skips holidaying with the Beckhams
After a tumultuous start to the year, Brooklyn and Nicola spent time unwinding on the French Riviera, soaking up the sun on the beach and connecting with nature.
In holiday photos posted to her Instagram, Nicola was dressed for the warm weather in a sheer ruffle blouse and micro shorts with a bandana tying her hair back. "Such a lovely time we all spent together," Elton's husband David told the actress, to which she replied: "We had the most amazing time thank you David, I love you soo much!"
While Brooklyn and Nicola relaxed in the South of France, Brooklyn's parents were spotted holidaying separately from their estranged son on the French Riviera. David and Victoria landed in Saint-Tropez last week where they reportedly risked a run in with their son.
David and Victoria were photographed last Thursday at a restaurant in town, reportedly just a five-minute walk away from an ice cream parlour Brooklyn and Nicola stopped by around the same time. The Beckhams were in France for their annual holiday on their private yacht, which Brooklyn also skipped last year amid an ongoing feud with his family.
Elton's £15 million estate
Elton has owned his French estate, reportedly valued at around £15 million, since the 90s. Nicknamed 'yellow palace' for the lemon shade Elton painted the exterior upon purchase, the villa sits on Mount Boron and overlooks the stunning Mediterranean Sea and the Bay of Angels.
The property was built in the 1920s and boasts incredible rounded archways, priceless artwork from Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, and is said to have a tower room overlooking the Mediterranean. Elton frequently holidays at his French Riviera mansion in the summer with his husband and their two children, sons Zachary, 15, and Elijah, 13.
The singer has previously hosted Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, as well as well-known stars like Neil Patrick Harris and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
