Friends star Courteney Cox has been very frank and open about having her fillers dissolved. The 62-year-old confirmed she had all her fillers dissolved in 2017 and has spoken candidly about the 'regret' that came with those decisions. On a 2016 episode of NBC's Running Wild, she talked about reversing her procedures, saying: "I have done things that I regret, and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that's good, because it's not always been my best look."
On the Gloss Angeles podcast in 2023, the actress called it a "domino effect", explaining: "You don't realise that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more 'cause you look normal to yourself." Now in her sixties, it seems Courteney is taking a leaf out of Monica's book by being more grounded and practical about the choices she makes.

In 2024, singer SZA opened up about her decision to get breast implants, noting that she didn't comprehend the risks associated with a family history of breast cancer. On the SHE MD Podcast in 2024 she said: "When I got my boobs done, my doctor took out some of my fibrosis, but..there was so much fibrosis [scarred and thickened connective tissue], it was crazy. And he took it out. So, when I went back, a lot of the concerns were gone.''
Despite medical guidance that she should see her OB/GYN before getting implants due to her increased genetic risk, SZA "snuck and got it anyways". She explained that metal markers for the fibrosis meant she wasn't supposed to get implants.
She explained: ''They ended up hurting me. I got way too much scar tissue because my breasts are too dense, and I'm not supposed to have breast implants. And so I ended up getting extra fibrosis, like, with tissue, whatever, and I didn't feel good, and it was painful. So, I took them out, and now, they're just my boobs."

Life in your early 20s rarely gives rise to sensible decisions and celebrities are no exception. When Cardi B was 22 years old, she opted for illegal biopolymer butt injections, a treatment that is low cost but very dangerous and regularly performed in non-medical settings,
The singer decided to have most of the material surgically removed when she was 30 and warned fans against the procedure. She said live on Instagram: ''All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like, 'OMG, I don't have enough fat to put in my ass,' so you result to ass shots, don't!"

While breast enhancement might sound like a run-of-the-mill procedure in the world of plastic surgery, it's not without significant risk – including some scary side effects.
On Instagram, she shared a post-surgery photo writing: ''Little by little I began struggling with minor health issues that just were not adding up—food sensitivities as well as gut issues...that I thought could be caused by my implants,'' Ashley explained. ''So, last winter I decided to undergo implant removal. This journey has been one of growth, self discovery, self acceptance and most importantly self-love.''

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress recounted her decision to have cosmetic surgery in a 2011 appearance on Good Morning America. She said, ''I got my boobs done in my early 20s, and if I had known it would or could possibly impact production of milk, I would never have had them done.'' It's important to note breast augmentation doesn’t necessarily affect a mother’s ability to breastfeed.
While the implants she had were ''expired and recalled'', it was the urging of her daughter Stella that had her go through with the surgery to remove them.
She explained on Jeff Lewis Live that she got them when she was ''really young'' and ''didn't know that at a certain point they would have an expiration''.
“It really hit home for me when my daughter came to me, and she's like, 'Mom, I'm concerned,'' she added. ''You have put this off. You told me for years now that you need to get your boobs redone.'''

Victoria has spoken briefly about the decision to remove her breast implants, telling Allure in 2014: ''I don’t have them anymore. I think I may have purchased them.'' Tom Bower wrote in the biography The House of Beckham it was allegedly on Anna Wintour’s advice that Victoria Beckham removed her breast implants. He said, "Victoria had only just entered the fashion business. She had met Marc Jacobs, an adored New York designer. At his fashion show she had modelled three of his outfits in three hours."
Apparently, her catwalk performance won the approval of Anna herself. ''Her self-mockery won Wintour's approval, but subject to her accepting some firm advice. Boob jobs and hotpants were definitely Essex and not East Side. To rebrand her image, her breast implants needed to be fixed."

The American model and wife of singing icon John Legend told Glamour in 2020 that she got breast implants at just 20 years old. At the time, she was focused on building her career and thought: ''If I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies, and they fill up with milk and deflate, and now I am screwed.''
She opened up on wanting them out. ''If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you're supposed to replace [implants] every ten years. But when you have kids, you think about [the risks] of surgery, and I think, 'This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.'"
In 2020, Chrissy decided to take action and posted on Instagram following a flood of internet curiosity. She wrote: "So I posted myself getting a covid test on the Twitter, as I'm getting surgery soon. A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I'll just say it here: I'm getting my boobs out! They've been great to me for many years but I'm just over it.''
She reasoned, ''I'd like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don't worry about me! All good. I'll still have boobs, they'll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat."

At just 19 years old, Blac Chyna, real name Angela White, had silicone injections from an unqualified practitioner. These butt injections are illegal and 16 years later she had them removed. She cautioned fans in an Instagram video, saying: "I just want all the ladies out there to know: Do not get silicone shots.''
During the video, she added: ''You can get sick, you can die, have complications, and all this other crazy stuff. Normally, my procedure would've taken four hours tops. My procedure took over 8.5 hours, y'all. Whatever that silicone mass, whatever that was that was in my buttocks, it kept clogging the machine, and breaking it."

Glee's beloved Brittany S. Pierce, Heather Morris, told Fitness magazine in 2011 that it wasn't long after she got her breast implants that she opted to get them removed. It made sense for the dancer, who found fame on Glee and previously acted as a backup dancer for Beyoncé.
Speaking to Fitness, she explained: "Implants were something I thought I wanted when I was younger, and now I don't. It was hard being active with them, because my chest was always sore. It hurt a lot, and I didn't like always being in pain, so they had to go!"
