Between promoting The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day and quietly marrying her long-time partner Tom Holland, it's been a mammoth year for Zendaya. Now, the star is saying farewell to her twenties.
The actress ushered in her thirties on 1 September with the most adorable throwback from her private photo album, looking unrecognisable. Zendaya looked ever so cute as a youngster with the cheekiest grin and her natural curly hair styled in the most adorable pigtails.
"I can’t thank ya’ll enough for making the last year of my twenties so beautiful, I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to, with love as always….here’s to 30!!!!!" she gushed.
© Instagram/ @zendayaEven as a child, the star clearly loved to wear bright colours. A young Zendaya looked comfy in a relaxed pink camisole top and purple plaid patterned pants in the throwback picture.
The star's fashion journey has been one to watch as she's gone from her Disney days of sneakers and vibrant colours to fearless red carpet moments, delivering a plethora of theatrical looks such as her famous Mugler robot suit for the Dune premiere in 2024 and transforming into a real-life angel for The Odyssey premiere in New York in July.
On turning 30
Ahead of leaving her twenties behind, Zendaya opened up about "looking forward" to her third decade of life.
"Every every woman has told me that the thirties are the best," the actress reflected on The Jennifer Hudson Show in April. "I feel that way too because I think your twenties can be a little chaotic," she said. "You're figuring so much out and everybody's like in your thirties you just know yourself better, you know what you want. I'm looking forward to it."

"I think I do have wisdom to offer, but I also do still feel like a [expletive] kid," she added.
A big year so far

The couple, who secretly tied the knot earlier in the year, travelled around the world for the concurrent press tours of their films, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in June and July.
And it's been just as significant a year in Zendaya's personal life. Reports that Zendaya and Tom had tied the knot began when Zendaya's long-time stylist Law Roach told Access Hollywood in March that the wedding had "already happened."
When asked by Esquire in June about AI-generated clips and photos that apparently showed their wedding, Tom all but confirmed they had tied the knot, remarking that his family "were all there'. Tom and Zendaya have since referred to each other as husband and wife on their recent press tours and recently celebrated their nuptials with a private reception last month, HELLO! can confirm.
