Ethan Hawke joined a plethora of Hollywood stars at the Deauville American Film Festival in France on Friday with two very special guests by his side.
The Oscar-nominated actor looked smart in head-to-toe black as he walked the opening red carpet on 4 September for the premiere of his latest film, The Weight, which he stars in alongside Russell Crowe and Julia Jones. Ethan was sweetly supported by his wife of 18 years, Ryan Hawke, and their rarely-seen teenage daughter, Indiana, 15.
The family-of-three were all smiles as they posed for pictures on the red carpet. Indiana, who is the youngest of Ethan's four children, looked lovely for the red carpet occasion in a floor-length white dress with a keyhole cutout on the top. The sleeveless bohemian-style frock featured tiers of lace on the skirt and a rounded neckline.
The teen complemented her look with a pretty pink cardigan and a statement metallic gold handbag with a chainlink strap, and wore her hair down in a cascade of waves. Meanwhile, Ethan's wife looked striking in jet-black, just like her husband. Ryan stunned in a long-sleeve maxi dress with her blonde locks styled in loose, beachy waves.
Indiana's rare red carpet appearances
Ethan shares two daughters with his long-time wife Ryan: 18-year-old Clementine, who was born in July 2008, and Indiana, who was born in July 2011. He is also a father to two children in their twenties from his marriage to actress Uma Thurman: Maya, 28, and Levon Roan, 24.
While her older half-siblings, Maya and Levon, have pursued acting like their father, Indiana and her sister Clementine have grown up largely out of the spotlight. In recent years, Indiana has made the occasional red carpet appearance alongside her parents.
In February, she joined her dad at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon, posing for photos on the red carpet ahead of the event with him. She looked lovely for the occasion, which was attended by Hollywood's brightest stars, in a white dress, which she paired with a cherry red handbag.
Days earlier, Indiana and her older sister Clementine joined their mum to support Ethan at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, marking an ultra-rare public appearance for the family of four.
