Mick Fleetwood couldn't keep the smile off his face – or his hands off his new wife – as he made a rare public appearance in New York City.
The 79-year-old Fleetwood Mac co-founder attended the 2026 Kering Foundation Caring For Women Dinner on Thursday, September, 10, 2026 with wife Elizabeth, 56, nearly six months after revealing that they had tied the knot.
Mick wore an all-black suit with a red tie, white cap and sunglasses, while Elizabeth looked chic in a black satin dress and red leather shoes that matched her husband.
The pair posed with their arms around each other, and were beaming for the photographs, as Mick held up the peace sign.
Surprise wedding
Mick revealed news of their nuptials on March 28, 2026 alongside pictures of their sun-kissed honeymoon.
"The south Pacific does its magic !!! A honeymoon with my love Elizabeth…creating moments to be remembered !! Sun health and happiness!!" he captioned the carousel that included a snap to their wedding day, as Mick held up a black fedora hat to hide their faces.
Elizabeth wore a lace wedding dress with a white fur coat over it and diamond drop earrings, while Mick rocked a silk blazer with silver adornments. A second snap revealed Mick later changed into a bold floral print shirt and a baby pink fedora.
The pair began dating in 2020 and their engagement was announced in 2025 by close friend Mike Lawson, who spilled the beans on social media.
"Mick Fleetwood just texted and said he is marrying his girlfriend of five years, Elizabeth. How cool, finding love and making that commitment is beautiful. Congrats! @mickfleetwoodofficial," he wrote on Threads.
Who is Elizabeth?
Elizabeth Jordan serves as the director of the Mick Fleetwood Foundation, which supports young children that have a passion for music and works closely with MusiCares.
The pair live on the island of Maui in Hawaii, and Elizabeth is a former teacher turned realtor. She has two children from a previous relationship, Max and Joy.
Mick's marriage history
Mick, who co-founded Fleetwood Mac in 1967, has been married four times before, with his first marriage to Jenny Boyd, a former model and the younger sister of Pattie Boyd, who was married to George Harrison of The Beatles and rocker Eric Clapton, in 1970.
The couple welcomed two daughters together, Amy and Lucy before they split in 1976. They rekindled their romance a year later and remarried, only to divorce again in 1978.
Stevie Nicks affair
During this time, Mick was having a three-year affair with Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Stevie Nicks, and he also began a romantic relationship with Stevie's best friend, Sara Recor.
In 2011, Stevie recalled the moment she discovered that her best friend had started a relationship with Mick behind her back.
"I had started to see Mick Fleetwood romantically. I had a very dear friend whose name was Sara, who just went after Mick," she told The Independent.
"And they fell in love, and the next thing, Sara's husband is calling me to say, 'Sara moved in with Mick this morning. And I just thought you might wanna know.' That was three months into a 13-month album. So I lost Mick, which honestly wasn't that big of a deal because that was a rocky relationship. But losing my friend Sara? That was a huge blow."
Tusk
The band, which also included Christine McVie, Lindsay Buckingham, and John McVie, decided that Sara would not be allowed into the studio, but despite the scandal fracturing the band, Stevie has acknowledged that period produced some of the band's most prolific work, including the 1979 album Tusk, and the song "Sara."
Other marriages
Mick married Sara in 1988 but they divorced in 1995, and that same year he married Lynn Frankel, with whom he welcomed twin daughters Ruby and Tessa.
The duo were married for almost 20 years until they separated in 2013.
