In keeping with a recent celebrity trend set by the likes of Diddy and J Lo, martial arts star Jackie Chan has been busy boosting his clothing business by launching a range of hats. The stylish panamas are the latest foray into fashion for the Rush Hour actor, who already sells items such as t-shirts and jackets under his brand name.

Fans must have been thrilled when the Hong Kong-born star arrived at Tokyo's International Fashion Fair to model the eye-catching headgear in person. Embellished with a distinctive dragon logo, the hats retail at around £110.

In an appearance that was tamer than most of his on-screen activities - he's cracked his skull and broken most of his fingers and his nose on three occasions - the actor also handed out gifts and chatted to shoppers.

And it's possible the kung fu maestro could be getting an order from an enthusiast in political circles. Meeting Jackie at a gala dinner, Tony Blair's wife Cherie told the actor "I have to say the prime minister is a bit of a fan. He tells me that Rush Hour is his favourite."

The 1998 film paired the 51-year-old with American comedian Chris Tucker as cops who form an unlikely partnership to rescue a diplomat's daughter from Hong Kong gangsters.
