At 5ft 3in, Brittany Murphy might be considered a little on the diminutive side by most modelling scouts, but that didn't stop the pretty actress from stealing the show when she took to the runway at Milan Menswear Week. The Newlyweds star was greeted by a roar of approval from the Italian city's fashionistas when she brought a touch of A-list glamour to the DSquared show on Tuesday.
The little black dress she sported for her trip down the runway wasn't the only eye-catching item she was wearing, because the 28-year-old has recently received a dazzling Tiffany diamond from her handsome beau Joe Macaluso.
Brittany and her husband-to-be, who have yet to set a date for their big day, got engaged over the Christmas break. The loved-up pair first met two years ago on the set of Little Black Book, but sparks didn't fly until some months later when he helped her put up the festive decorations in her Hollywood home. "He hung our Christmas lights and I got to know him through that," revealed the actress.
It may prove a little difficult for the couple to make their vows in the near future, as Brittany has a jam-packed schedule for the next few months. Having recently finished work on the London-based comedy Love And Other Disasters, she has now signed up to star in a sequel to the groundbreaking Sin City. The year ahead will also see her in the animated adventure Happy Feet and Ed Burns' romantic comedy The Groomsmen. She's also due to contribute to Paul Oakenfeld's latest single Faster Kill Pussycat.
