Cindy Crawford was partying with New York's beautiful people at a fun-filled fiesta this week in the city's trendy Indochine venue. The supermodel was hosting a bash for top Big Apple stylist, Stephen Knoll, who's recently launched a range of haircare products, after years spent tending some of the most famous locks in Hollywood.

While most revellers had gone for fancy dress, the statuesque beauty welcomed guests in a fetching, sparkly LBD. Her fellow host, man-about-town Patrick McDonald, was sporting a look he described as "over-the-top Dandy".

Wearing a gold Paul Smith suit topped off with a jaunty cream hat, he joked about his "battle of the beauty marks", comparing the distinctive mole on his right cheek to Cindy's own iconic birthmark.

Despite the rivalry, the pair happily posed for photos alongside Stephen, who also counts Kim Basinger and Sex And The City actress Kristin Davis among his big-name clients.
