It was recently reported that she had split from boyfriend John Mayer, but Katy Perry looks to be moving on in style. The popstar was as stunning as ever as she stepped out in a dandelion-print dress to attend Coach's third annual Evening of Cocktails and Shopping benefit. Her black shift number by designer Thakoon featured a sheer panelled hemline that showed off her perfect pins. She paired the dress with striking accessories that included a jewelled collar and leather belt.Black pointed Monika Chiang Zimba D'Orsay stilettos completed the look.

Katy was only one of many celebs to turn out for the event that supports the Children's Defense Fund at director's J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot production offices in Santa Monica. She was joined by Orlando Bloom, Rosario Dawson, Sophia Bush and Alice Eve. Movie star Orlando looked to be having a great time, despite the absence of his model wife Miranda Kerr. Also enjoying the party was Mad Men star January Jones, actress Chloe Sevigny and supermodel Milla Jovovich. The super stylish trio caught up on the balcony, pausing at times to pose for the cameras.

According to multiple sources, Katy and John Mayer parted ways earlier this week after dating for seven months. The pair gave their love a second chance after briefly splitting in August, less than a year after Katy and Russell Brand divorced. A close source to the couple told US Weekly that their split "is sad," but suggested they could reconcile one more time. "It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out", the source said. Another friend added: "She's leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work." Katy has been busy recording her third studio album while John is preparing for his tour which begins in New York next month and wraps up in Brasil later this year.
