Dame Joan Collins is a force to be reckoned with – is there anyone more glamorous than the infamous 85-year-old? This autumn, one of our favourite high street shoe brands Kurt Geiger has enlisted the Dynasty actress to front their new AW18 campaign and wow, the legend looks incredible. Dressed in a body-conscious black dress, cape-sleeved tailored jacket, she accessorised her look with sexy red high heels and lots of jewellery. In the second shot, Joan is seen cuddling up to the most fabulous of arm candy – a prince-of Wales check Kensington bag which she teams with a sleek white blazer. How extra!

The campaign’s headline is ‘Distinguish Yourself in Characterful Style’ and each well-known face in the line-up which embodies unique personal style. The Kurt Geiger ethos remarks that ‘style is what you wear but character is how you wear it’ and we couldn’t agree more! Alongside Dame Joan Collins and Reece King, model and activist Alek Wek, photographer Alice Dellal, Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw, fashion legend Dame Zandra Rhodes, musician Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, artist Christabel MacGreevy and new face Molly Smith star in the Autumn/Winter 2018 campaign which was photographed by Kurt Geiger’s long-time collaborator Erik Torstensson.

EXCLUSIVE: Dame Joan Collins reveals the secret behind her youthful looks

Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, KG’s Chief Creative Officer “We believe in designs that start conversations, so needed a strong and impactful campaign. I wanted to create images that were representative of the diversity of our global customer and reflect and complement modern life.” Also, you may notice that the set is completely blank except for the artist and Rebecca explains this was planned: “We removed all props so that individual could take centre stage.” And who is more centre-stage than Joan?
