George Clooney is one of the world's most famous actors, with a suave wardrobe envied by millions. Still, his gorgeous wife Amal is a fashion force to be reckoned with, lighting up the red carpet in a plethora of resplendent dresses.
Last week, the talented professional, who is a human rights barrister first and foremost, jetted to Bangkok to attend the Cartier Women's Initiative event.
Posing outside the venue, the 48-year-old delighted onlookers in a stunning lavender silk dress by Prada. The dress featured a column-style cut and gave Amal a sleek, streamlined shape.
The muted lilac shade is a huge fashion trend for 2026, with many celebrities and even royalty donning the smoky pastel tone. The cool undertones of the shade flatter all skin tones and always pack a punch, particularly when it comes to event dressing.
Amal's new 'do
Amal's hairdresser, Dimitris Giannetos, shared a carousel of images from the event and broke down the new cut he created for the star to go alongside her vibrant ensemble. "Amal Clooney in Thailand," he penned. Calling her coiffed mane the "Bell Bottom haircut", he said: "Amal attended the Cartier event wearing a lilac @prada dress with Cartier jewelry so I wanted to complete the look on her hair with something timeless, chic, but at the same time make it bold! Since her dress is geometrical, I wanted her hair to have a '70s flair! I gave her the 'bell bottom haircut' before I styled it in a soft, bouncy blowout!"
Royals wearing lilac
Lilac and all its variations are the colours to be seen in right now, with some members of the royal family embracing the eye-catching hue.
Stealing the show at Royal Ascot, Zara Tindall was pictured on day one of the Berkshire horse racing event alongside her husband Mike, looking glamorous in a bright and breezy lavender-toned Rebecca Vallance puff-sleeve midi dress with a belted waist and scalloped lapels. Keeping with the pastel theme, she added a matching hat from Juliette Botterill Millinery.
The Princess of Wales stepped out at Buckingham Palace on 21 April to attend a reception on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth. Kate wore an exquisite Emilia Wickstead dress, which featured a thick waistband to create a tapered silhouette, as well as an A-line, knee-skimming skirt and a high crew neckline.
