Marie France van Heel, the wife of Britain's new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, is quickly becoming one of our favourite summer sartorial muses. And her latest hot magenta look is another one we are adding to our evening glamour moodboard.
The Dutch-born marketing executive slipped on the popping pink silk gown for an evening with the King and Queen, joining Their Majesties with her Prime Minister husband at the opening ceremony for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

She slicked her platinum blonde hair back into her trademark updo and chose a makeup palette comprised of bronzed, glowy cheeks and rouge lipstick.
Meanwhile, Andy looked smart, wearing a dark navy blue suit and forest green tie.

Marie's best Number 10 bombshell moments
Marie's most recent fashion contribution is certainly not the first we have been bedazzled by.
On her inaugural day at Number 10 on Monday, Marie wowed the public as she stepped out in a powder blue masterpiece by none other than Victoria Beckham.

Other stand-out moments from Marie's wardrobe included when she put her reputation as the former "coolest girl in college" while studying alongside Andy at Cambridge University into practice, stepping out in a pair of Converse.
