Dua Lipa proved she is the ultimate Chanel muse, as she slipped into a chic number from the French maison during her recent trip to Kosovo.
The singer took to Instagram on July 31 to share a post that captured a series of special moments that had occurred so far. Dua posed in a white Chanel dress featuring ruched knot detailing at the side, a flowing silhouette, and a plunging neckline. The hem was accented with black trim, while the bodice was adorned with a cutout of the brand's iconic logo emblem.
The 30-year-old's luscious dark locks were slicked back into a plait while her makeup was left natural with a radiant complexion and a nude-stained lip.
Dua is in Kosovo for the annual Sunny Hill Festival, an international music event in Pristina. The singer co-founded the festival alongside her father, Dukagjin Lipa, to bring musical artists to the region. The festival has been nominated three times among Europe’s Top 10 Best Mid-Sized Festivals. Previous headliners include Dua herself, Miley Cyrus, Calvin Harris, Shawn Mendes, J Balvin, Anyma, Stormzy, Peggy Gou, Mochakk, Black Coffee, Burna Boy, FatboySlim, Martin Garrix, Hardwell and more.
"WE ARE SO BACK!!!!" penned Dua in the caption. "I can’t believe we’re about to kick off our 7th edition of @sunnyhillfestival!!!!!! Went down to the festival site last night to see everything before it all kicks off today, and I’m absolutely buzzing with excitement +++ feeling so incredibly proud of our family and the whole team for everything that’s gone into making this happen!!!! And to make yesterday even more magical… I became a godmother. Safe to say the tears have been flowing all day...SEE YOU TONIGHT, PRISHTINA!!!!! @sunnyhillfestival."
Dua Lipa's love affair with Chanel
It is not unusual to see Dua dressed in a white ensemble by the French fashion house. After all, she did wear an ethereal Chanel by Matthieu Blazy haute couture gown during her Palermo wedding to Callum Turner.
The garment featured a figure-hugging silhouette with a high neckline and dramatic train. The gown was embellished with intricate beadwork, while the sweeping train was finished with feather detailing for added flair. Dua completed the look with a long embroidered veil, attached to a feathered headpiece. The back of the dress was left open, framed by delicate straps adorned with intricate beadwork and shimmering gems.
The lavish outdoor ceremony took place at Villa Valguarnera, a historic 18th-century mansion in Palermo.
