Dua Lipa resurrected a vintage relic to elevate her sartorial agenda this season. This singer took to Instagram on October 15 to show off her latest outfit – and it boasts the sultry charm that is Tom Ford-tenure Gucci.
The 31-year-old posed in a slinky black gown that featured a daring backless design. However, for a vintage twist, Dua styled the garment with a chunky leather belt, finished with Gucci's signature gold 'G' buckle, that was worn backwards. The design was plucked from Tom Ford's Fall/Winter 1996 ready-to-wear collection for the Italian fashion house. "People were maybe a little bit too afraid to celebrate hedonism on the runway," Tom Ford later said of his sexy collection.
Dua's backless gown featured a high neckline with long sleeves and a figure hugging silhouette. Her luscious locks were left down in a straight style while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a blue-toned smoky eye and a nude lip.
"Seven days give or takeeee and my first baseball game!!!" the singer penned in the caption.
Another photograph in the Instagram dump captured the star at a baseball game. Dua wore a burgundy leather jacket that featured a croc-effect design courtesy of Chanel. The star was joined at the match by her husband, Callum Turner.
Dua Lipa's workout routine
While her leather belt may help cinch her waist, Dua's sculpted figure is down to her disciplined fitness routine. "I think different variations of crunches like bicycle crunches are good," she previously told Viva. "Leg raises are also great unless my back hurts. Planks are good, although almost certainly my least favourite!" Dua typically begins her morning with some form of exercise.
"I try and work out as much as I can," she added. "I love doing something that's really fast and quick, like a 15-minute HIIT session which I can do before I start my day. If I've got a really early call time, I don't want to be waking up hours before I need to go and do a workout. So [I do] a high-intensity workout, shower, breakfast, and I'm on my way."
Dua typically combines high intensity workouts and weight training with low-impact routines. "When I have a tiny bit more time on my side I love mixing up lots of different training, finding different workouts in whatever city I'm in, whether it's yoga, Pilates, boxing or spinning," she told Marie Claire.
