Teddy Bear's Picnic – the cosiest teddy bear coats right now

Wrap up in style

Laura Sutcliffe

It has been a pretty frosty year so far, meaning we all need to wrap up warm – but stylishly of course. Sienna Miller gave us total coat envy on Friday whilst sitting FROW at Tory Burch's show at New York Fashion Week. The blonde mother-of-one looked incredible in a silk orange slip dress, which she paired with a stunning, off-white shearling design worn over the top. She added a contrasting pastel blue fringed bag and backless white loafers – all from the high end designer. Teddy bear coats have been having a huge fashion moment recently, particularly in the colder months. The most famous teddy bear design is the iconic tan version by MaxMara, which remains top of our wish list. Sienna's look is very easy to recreate, with a huge array of affordable options currently available. Weekday's Sasha coat, £125, is made in a light cream hue and features the ultra-important thick faux material, a trendy high neck and concealed zipper. It reminds us off a very cosy blanket and we guarantee you won’t want to take it off.

If you are on a budget but still want to get in on the action, you need to head to high street favourite New Look. This £39.99 design is made in the season's hottest shade – mustard - and features wide lapels and deep pockets. Team with skinny jeans, a ribbed knitted jumper and loafers for that laid-back, weekend vibe.

Lastly, this pile jacket by H&M, also £39, is made in a delightful blush pink. It's not a full-on, brave-the-cold-if-you-dare kinda look, but instead a cute boxy jacket. The soft pile design has a stand-up collar, gathered cuffs and lining.
