It's no secret that when it comes to style, Princess Beatrice often takes a leaf out of her mother Sarah Ferguson's book. The mother-daughter duo are tight-knit – as our their fashion senses. On Friday, Princess Beatrice accompanied her mother to a book signing at Barnes bookshop, where the pair welcomed guests in the most sophisticated of outfits.
Princess Beatrice, 34, turned out a timeless look captured by @royalfashionpolice, which consisted of a charcoal grey plated skirt teamed with a sleek black jacket. She wore her auburn locks down loose and held into place by a twinkling headband, one of her mum's signature accessories.
Sarah looked devilishly smart beside her daughter, sporting Gucci's 'Soft Wool Silk Jacket' from the brand's Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Featuring a midnight black hue, a flattened gold metal belt, a structured silhouette, wide sleeves and a prim collar, the £2,990 piece was a welcome alternative to Sarah's go-to military-themed staples.

Upon seeing images of the royals surface online, fans were quick to praise the two for their elegant attire. "I love the jacket," one wrote, while another said: "Cute Beatrice and Sarah!"
Princess Beatrice's pleated aesthetic follows another sartorial hit which she debuted on Tuesday. The royal was pictured leaving Lou Lou's in Mayfair following an upmarket evening out as she walked with a friend to Curzon Street.
She wore a wool cashmere coat by Burberry, layered over Antra Design's 'Suki Black Velvet Coat Dress,' which retails for £225. A pair of heeled black boots topped off her embroidered attire, in addition to some tights to keep the 34-year-old warm on the chilly evening.

During the night, it seems that the royal might well have crossed paths with her ex-boyfriend of ten years, Dave Clark. The pair were seen exiting the same restaurant just a few minutes apart, although there is no suggestion they dined together, and they went in separate directions with their plus ones.
