Queen Camilla braves Belfast rain in Chanel heels – and £5k Lady Dior bag
King Charles and his wife attended an event to mark Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann coming to Belfast in August on day one of the royal visit to Northern Ireland
Queen Camilla braved the rain on day one of her and King Charles' trip to Northern Ireland. The monarch's wife, 78, was seen at an event to mark Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann coming to Belfast in August and chose a cornflower blue Anna Valentine coat for the occasion.
The wrap-style outerwear, which cut off just below the knee, was styled with a range of high-end accessories to take the look from new chic heights. The Queen opted for a pair of 'Cap Toe Suede Satin Low Heel Pumps' by Chanel, a classic style with the double 'C' on the heel and the ultimate It-girl bag – a £5,000 Lady Dior.

Once inside, Camilla removed her coat, which showcased her floral midi dress by Fiona Clare, as identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram, with an A-line cut. Her choice of accessories ensured that the print didn't look overwhelming, and her jewellery suite, which featured a 'Vintage Alhambra 5 Motifs' bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels and a gold-plated pendant necklace, rounded off the look in an understated fashion.

Of her choice in high-end accessories, fashion stylist Sian Clarke of Styled by Sian tells us: "Queen Camilla has really leaned into the accessories for this look, and it completely elevates the way she has previously styled this coat.

"The Chanel cap-toe pumps are next-level chic, paired perfectly with her small Dior 'Lady Dior' bag. Together, they give the classic coat a much more modern and trend-led feel. The added texture from the bag brings depth and interest to the overall look, while the structured toe cap adds an element of confidence and sophistication with a sharper, more serious edge."
It seems Dior's iconic handbag is becoming a statement in Queen Camilla's wardrobe for SS26. She also took a black version to the state visit to the United States in April. The Lady Dior has a royal legacy, with it having been named after the late Princess Diana, who was first offered the bag in September 1995 while visiting Paris for the opening of the Paul Cézanne retrospective at the Grand Palais.
