Princess Rajwa looked simply stunning on Monday as she stepped out alongside her husband, Crown Prince Hussein, and in-laws, King Abdullah and Queen Rania, for the Jordanian Independence Day celebrations.

The Saudi Arabian-born Jordanian royal, 32, opted for a strategically placed sky-blue dress with a flowing silhouette and clean lines, a delicate and minimalist choice that she transformed with her accessories.

This piece features a round neckline, long sleeves, and a floor-length flared skirt, and incorporates an asymmetrical cape that adds an extra touch of elegance and originality. A strategically placed and highly flattering drape perfectly accentuates her waist.

The accessories have been particularly striking, especially the gold bracelets that completely transform the outfit. These pieces are inspired by ornamental Arabic calligraphy. She also wore a flower-shaped brooch on her chest.

"Princess Rajwa’s latest look feels cinematic in the best possible way, it is regal, fashion-led and quietly dramatic," stylist Oriona Robb tells us. "The soft powder blue gives the gown an almost weightless elegance, while the draped, sculptural silhouette adds movement and presence without relying on sparkle or excess. It has a confidence to it that feels incredibly modern: understated, but impossible to overlook."

Among the most talked-about details of Rajwa's look, we see an accessory with a truly royal touch: the Bottega Veneta Knot clutch. Rajwa carried the iconic 'Minaudière Intrecciato' with its metal knot closure, one of those handbags that has achieved something rare in fashion: transcending time and conquering practically every European palace.

Having become almost an evening classic within European monarchies, the model has been a staple for years for royals such as Queen Letizia of Spain, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Princess Carolineof Monaco, and many other queens and princesses, who rely on it especially for galas and major official events.

More than a passing trend, this bag has established itself as a small cult object among European royalty: discreet, recognizable, and timeless enough to continue appearing generation after generation. But Princess Rajwa wasn't the only beautifully dressed royal on the day…

Modernity and tradition: the keys to Rania's style

The Queen of Jordan has been considered one of the best-dressed royals on the international scene for years, thanks precisely to that perfect balance between tradition and modernity, where she blends contemporary elegance with her cultural heritage.

Rania blends tradition with a modern flair

She loves fashion, enjoys having fun with it, and doesn't hesitate to embrace the latest trends, which she pulls off with style, no matter how daring they may be. However, at important institutional events like this one, she always strives to project an image true to her country's classic fashion.

Princess Salma of Jordan: discretion and sophistication at a historic event

While Rajwa has opted for minimalism and Rania for sophistication linked to cultural identity, Salma has introduced a very different style, starting with her colour palette.

In contrast to the pastel tones favoured by her mother and sister-in-law, the princess chose a design made from a red and black striped fabric, showcasing her distinctive personality.

She appeared in a striking dress, richly embroidered and adorned with decorative details that added texture and movement. It was a design meant to be seen, a V-neck gown with voluminous sleeves and an empire waist, featuring an A-line skirt adorned with small fringed ruffles.
