Princess Charlene, 48, is the unofficial queen of power dressing, having leaned into sharp tailoring and androgynous suits since marrying Prince Albert of Monaco in 2011.

Serving up another lesson in how to style a suit, she recycled her Max Mara suit in 'Hazelnut', which is the perfect soft autumnal shade, to attend the presentation of the 2026-2027 season for the Monegasque national rugby sevens team.

Posing alongside her brother Gareth Wittstock, she wore the brand's cigarette trousers and matching double-breasted blazer alongside a high-necked shirt with a structured collar, and Jimmy Choo pumps in 'Chai', according to Palace Fashion Files.

Princess Charlene's 'quietly confident' royal wardrobe

She had previously worn an identical look in March for the . At the time, HELLO! turned to Angela Kyte, a luxury stylist with a decade of experience in the fashion industry, to dissect her look.

"Princess Charlene’s latest look is a masterclass in understated power dressing. The double-breasted blazer, with its strong shoulders and clean tailoring, creates a sharp silhouette, while the soft neutral tone keeps the overall feel refined," she told us.

"It’s a modern take on suiting that feels both polished and quietly confident, exactly the direction royal style has been moving in."

Commenting on the restraint, she added: "The crisp shirt, minimal accessories and softly styled hair allow the structure of the suit to take centre stage, rather than competing with it.

"Charlene has always leaned into a more androgynous, tailored aesthetic, and this look reinforces that identity in a way that feels intentional and contemporary."

On Wednesday, Charlene styled her blonde bob straight with flicked-out ends, and added chic Miu Miu glasses.

Princess Charlene has previously confessed she's had fashion mishaps while performing curtseys

Charlene's love of suits may have been driven by her experiences of fashion mishaps in the past. The biography Charlene: In Search of a Princess translated an interview Charlene gave to Rapport in 2019 in which she confessed she has struggled with her outfits while curtsying to other royals.

"The seam of my dress has split, and I've also lost an earring in my blouse while curtsying," she said.
