Jennifer Aniston bid a tearful farewell to her Friends co-stars recently when filming on the hit comedy came to an end. But the actress was cheered up by a rapturous welcome on Wednesday, when she turned out for the British premiere of her new film Along Came Polly.

She and her co-star Ben Stiller were greeted by a huge roar when they arrived in Leicester Square for the screening. And the actress, who dazzled photographers in a red puffball dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes, was clearly delighted with the reception. "The crowd outside is overwhelming," she said. "There are just so many people there."

In the movie Ben plays an uptight insurance man whose world is turned upside down when he falls for a flakey charmer played by Jen. As a result he must learn to take some risks and not be so controlling.

When it comes to her relationship with hubby Brad Pitt, Jen prefers to play it safe, however. Asked whether she might make a film with her hunky partner, the 35-year-old responded with caution. "I don't think so, " said the actress. "That's asking for trouble – it would be too much of a show."
