Lucy, 22, broke down in tears as she sat down with TOWIE matriarch Debbie, admitting her fears that she will never find someone who loves her like Mario does. She then agreed it was time to cool things off with current love interest Tom Pearce.

"Do you not think this thing with Tom has gone too far?" Debbie asked the pretty brunette, adding that she was worried about her.

"I feel you only really have one true love in life. Tell me the truth about how you feel.

"Looking emotional, Lucy replied, "I'm always going to love him. "Pushing the topic further, Debbie told her, "I know he will love you until the day he dies."

Wiping away a tear, Lucy said, "It terrifies me that I'm never going to meet someone who loves me as much as he does. I feel really lonely… I won't give my all to Tom because I think I should be on my own. "Elsewhere, Mario was seen wistfully talking about his former flame, admitting that before the TOWIE trip to Vegas he thought he might get back together with Lucy, but that she had chosen Tom instead.

Speaking to his mum and cast mate Charlie, he said that Tom should be thankful that he's got such a beautiful girlfriend.
