"If you haven't had the chance to see us on our stadium tour this year, or you simply want to relive it again we've got a very special announcement", Niall told fans in the Youtube video.

"You can see the concert plus an exclusive interview with us talking about what happens on tour, on the big screen, on the 11th and 12th October", added Liam.

It will follow on from the hugely successful documentary the band starred in in 2013. Directed by Morgan Spurlock, the documentary remains the fourth highest-grossing concert movie ever after taking £48.6m at the global box office.

Where We Are was filmed at Milan’s San Siro stadium and includes the bands biggest hits including Best Song Ever and their debut single What Makes You Beautiful.

The bands third tour, it has been one of the most successful tours of all time, although band member Niall Horan had to issue a plea to concert-goers after the band's performance in Amsterdam in June.

The Irish guitar player, who underwent surgery on his knee in January, asked fans to be more careful about throwing items on stage as they are causing the boys injuries.

"I honestly think that last night's crowd in Amsterdam was one of the loudest One Direction crowds yet! The place was rockin! Thanks Holland," wrote Niall before adding, "Also guys! Can you limit what gets thrown on stage please! Coz somethin thrown at me tonight! Hit my knee! A lot of pain from it!"
