Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele finally meet in the first full length trailer for the hotly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey.Starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, the two-and-a-half-minute long trailer shows us Dakota's Anastasia - a shy literature student who meets Jamie's Christian when she interviews him. "So this is just an interview for the newspaper, I just have a couple of questions..." she starts.
In a voiceover, the young student is asked what the billionaire businessman Christian was like: "He was polite. Intense. Smart. Really intimidating..."When asked to talk about herself, Anastasia admits: "There's really not much to know about me, I mean, look at me." "I am", Christian reveals.
The two begin a relationship- but Anastasia soon realises that Christian may not be telling her the whole truth about his private life.
"I am incapable of leaving you alone," Christian later tells Anastasia before revealing to her: "I don't do romance. My tastes are very singular, you wouldn't understand."Based on E.L James's bestselling novel, which originated as
Twilightfanfiction, the film is set for release on Valentine's Day 2015, and the trailer also showcases a new, slowed-down version of Beyoncé's hit single
Crazy In Love. British director Sam Taylor-Wood is at the helm of the movie, which was pushed back to 2015 following the departure of
Sons of Anarchyactor Charlie Hunnan, who dropped out of the lead role.
Prior to the trailer,
fans have been offered glimpses of Christian through official stillsand snaps from E L James's Instagram account, and in December the author of the erotic trilogy shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the set of the film at the weekend. "Action!" she captioned the snapshot, featuring a slate during the 1st roll, the 25th scene and the 1st take.
