Katniss destroyed the stadium in which the 75th Hunger Games were being held, and was collected by the mysterious and previously unknown inhabitants of District 13, which was thought to have been destroyed at the end of the first rebellion against the Capitol years before.
Katniss' friend Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) was not as lucky and can be seen alongside President Snow, seemingly as his right-hand man, in the previous clips.

A touching snapshot was shared on Twitter by producer Nina Jacobson of Jennifer hugging co-stars Josh, Liam, and Woody as the cast celebrated filming the last scene.
Nina wrote alongside the sweet snap: "That's a wrap. Thank you @SuzanneCollins. Thank you @Hibbits. Thank you HG fans. Other than that, I'm speechless."
