EXCLUSIVE: Bradley Cooper is begged to 'come home' in new American Sniper clip

Bradley Cooper shows off his emotional side in this exclusive clip for new film American Sniper. Based on the autobiography of Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL who claimed to have 160 confirmed kills and  known as 'America's Deadliest Sniper', is being touted as a possible Oscars contender.

In this exclusive clip on HELLO! Online, Bradley and Sienna Miller are a fraught husband and wife, with Sienna, portraying Chris's wife Taya, calling Chris to exclaim over the fact that he is reportedly coming home early.

The mother of their two children reveals how excited the children are to see him, only to realise that he is already back in the country.

Bradley, who was Oscar nominated for his role in The Silver Linings Playbook, is almost unrecognisable in this latest role; he reportedly worked out around the clock to gain around 40lbs of muscle.

His co-star Eric Close spoke to E! about Bradley’s dedication to the role, revealing: "(Bradley) put on like 40 pounds. He's really been working hard. He looks great. He's really taken on this character.

"…He really takes this story personally and wants to do an honourable job for Chris' memory and for his family."
