Lifestyle blogger Zoella has denied new reports that she has joined The Xtra Factor as the new host. The tabloid reports had Zoella, real name, Zoe Sugg, in the running for the position, along with her brother, fellow blogger, Joe Sugg, former Big Brother winner and host Brian Dowling and Kiss FM DJs Melvin and Ricky.

Zoella became famous for her YouTube video blogs

Replying to a twitter follower who tweeted: "I JUST HEARD ON THE RADIO THAT @ZozeeBo IS TAKING OVER THE XTEA FACTOR?", Zoella wrote: "I don't know where this has come from? I'm definitely not" before adding an emoji of a crying face.

The 25-year-old would have been replacing Sarah-Jane Crawford who revealed she was leaving the show earlier in May. "Xtra factor has been amazing. However I have a new project coming up this summer & with all the changes happening I won't be back," she tweeted to fans.

There have been numerous changes within The X Factor family of shows, with Dermot O'Leary leaving the main show, and Olly Murs and Caroline Flack later being confirmed as the new co-hosts.

Nick Grimshaw is reportedly taking over from Louis Walsh on The X Factor's 12th season

Louis Walsh, the longest-running judge on The X Factor panel, is set to leave after 12 years. Louis revealed he is definitely leaving the show and that 30-year-old Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw will take his place on the panel.

"He's got my job. I've flat out left," Louis, 62, told the Daily Star. "I'm not going back to the show, absolutely gone. I'm pleased as I get to do my actual job now."

Sources had previously exclusively told HELLO! magazine that if Louis does leave he is likely to help launch Ireland's Got Talent, a spin-off of popular show Britain's Got Talent, and play a starring role in the new series as chief judge.
