Vogue Williams was forced to quit the new series of The Jump after suffering a knee injury during training, and has opened up about her disappointment that she is no longer able to compete in the popular Channel 4 show. Writing on her HELLO! blog, the 31-year-old Irish model explained how she scored the injury.

"Unfortunately for me on Wednesday I had an accident on the slopes," she wrote. "It was just such a pity and I'm devastated to say that I'm now out of the show. I've ruptured my ACL in my knee so I'm going to be out of action for about three months. I was practicing my ski cross and had a fall." Although the star will be needing an operation on her knee, the accident certainly hasn't put her off from the attempting the experience again once she is back on her feet.

"I'm really hoping that the show comes back next year because I would jump at the chance of being on it again," she admitted. "I wouldn't swop the last couple of months for anything because I've honestly had the best time… The first live show is tonight so be sure to tune in, my mom, sister auntie and sisters girlfriend had all booked flights out to support me OOPS! I'm pretty disappointed that they won't get to see me compete but we'll have such a laugh at the live show." Vogue previously chatted to HELLO! in an exclusive interview about her training, and revealed how much she was enjoying the experience before her accident. "The training's going so well, all of us are just really loving it," she said. "We've done slalom and snowcross, and we did a skeleton, which is my favourite thing to do."
