Davood Ghadami already looks like a professional dancer in his glittering, black ensemble! Speaking about taking part in the show, he said: "I want to learn to dance and I want to learn a new skill, and I want to challenge myself because obviously it’s going to be very difficult for me having no experience. I am the bottom rung of a very tall ladder but that’s how it feels right now. I have no real experience so I can only get better." When asked what week he is most looking forward to, he said: "I'm really looking forward to Halloween for some reason, it's an excuse to get really dressed up and have a lot of fun with that."

Alexandra showed off her amazing figure in this pink and gold number, and looks simply incredible! The X Factor winner is a huge fan of the show, and said: "I am taking part in Strictly because I absolutely love the show. It's a privilege and an honour that I have been asked because I never thought for a million years that I'd be able to get on the show that I've been wanting to do for the longest time."

Ruth Langsford

How incredible does Ruth look?! The presenter has already revealed that she is in it to win it! She said: "I'm absolutely going into this to win it because why would you not? In my diary, all those dates are filled in until I lift the Glitterball trophy and so that's what I'm thinking. There's no point going into this thinking, 'Oh you know, I'll probably go out in week three.' I don't want to go out, I want to stay, I want to learn all the dances and who knows, I might turn out to be brilliant."

The former JLS band member, who has just revealed he is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Sarah Lou Richards, spoke about how much his family love the show. "It's a very big deal in my household – my mum, my nan they're big fans, it's a proper big deal," he explained. "I got asked to do the show once before and I couldn't do it because I was away in another country and then the opportunity came back up and I was like – definitely!"

Charlotte Hawkins

Charlotte looks ready to perform in this gorgeous spangled number! The Good Morning Britain presenter revealed that she especially loves the glamour of the show, explaining: "I love the show and I love all the glitz, the glamour, the sparkle, the spray tan. It’s going to be an amazing experience and I just want to get as far as I can. It will be great to get to Blackpool, we will wait and see but I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that I can just throw everything into it, work really hard and get as far as I can."

Chizzy Akudolu

The Holby City star looks on fire in this fiery red dress! Chizzy has revealed that she has little dance experience, and spoke about how she was looking forward to learning some new moves! "I did win a disco dancing competition when I was 13," she joked. "I can dance, I've got rhythm and I think I can take choreography quite well but I think it's just going to be the memory and it’s all new! Putting your head this way and doing that step it's going to be tricky."

The Holby City star spoke about who he would like to have as a dance partner, explaining: "I think I’m looking for someone who is a bit no nonsense but at the same time someone who is quite fun and will make it enjoyable. They need to be able to crack the whip when they have to but can also have fun and have a good time."

Debbie McGee

Debbie looks incredible in her pink and red outfit! Speaking about her dancing experience, she said: "The last time I danced was over 35 years ago. I've never had any dance experience in this type of dancing, but I learnt ballet and modern tap when I was a child and I did dance for a few years but that was 35 years ago! So now it's like starting from scratch."

Jonnie Peacock

Jonnie might be a gold medal Paralympics champion, but he has revealed that he will try to be less competitive during Strictly Come Dancing! He said: "I am normally really competitive with pretty much anything but again with this, my expectations are so low of myself that I'm not coming into this with a competitive attitude whatsoever. I’m trying to be best the version of myself and be the best dancer that I can be but I don’t think that’s going to be high enough to do anything spectacular in the show."

Gemma Atkinson

Gemma looks so ready to show off her moves, even though she has admitted that she's not the best dancer! "I'd say my dancing is maybe 4/10… 6/10 when I have a drink in me," she said. "I did disco dancing when I was about 9 or 10 years old but as far as classical training goes, I couldn’t even say what dance is what."

Susan Calman

Susan looks so glam in this sequinned black gown! The comedian revealed that she wanted to be involved in the show as she is a huge fan, explaining: "I think it is the nicest show on television, I am obsessed with watching it and to do a show you love so much is a beautiful thing. I also really want to learn how to dance and I want to be in a pretty frock and high heels."

Mollie King

Mollie looks ready to break into dance in a sunshine yellow outfit! The Saturdays band member said of the competition: "I want to do as well as I can. I am competitive, but I really want to get far enough to feel like I've really soaked up the experience. I'm so looking forward to it I'd be really gutted if I went out in the first two weeks or something. I'd love to get as far as possible. I'd love to get to Blackpool but I know obviously that that’s really far off. I'd love to get as far in so that I can have soaked up the atmosphere, the costumes, the fake tan, just so that I've lapped it all up really."

Reverend Richard Coles

The Reverend looks as smart and distinguished as ever for his Strictly snap! Speaking about the advice he had received about appearing on the show, he revealed that he has chatted to former fan favourite Ed Balls about the show. He said: "I had a very very helpful and detailed briefing with Ed Balls, the former Chancellor of the Exchequer, which was very helpful indeed. He gave very good advice and a detailed training programme."

Simon Rimmer

Simon opened up about Strictly's biggest challenge, saying: "I think I am more suited to ballroom than to Latin. When I watch all the contestants who are good at Latin, they tend to be very mobile and very supple, and I am quite mobile but I am not very supple. I think you need to be kind of 'snake hips' and that kind of vibe and I have neither of those things."

Brian Conley

Brian is particularly looking forward to being taught how to dance professionally! He said: "Being taught by a professional dancer, the glitz, the glamour and being part of the number one show on Saturday night television. The production is second to none and getting the opportunity to hear that live band."
