Calling all crime drama fans! Netflix's latest offering, Nemesis, is coming to TV screens in May and it looks unmissable.
Told across eight episodes, the series follows the cat-and-mouse chase between Detective Isaiah Stiles (Matthew Law) and heist mastermind Coltrane Wilder (Y'lan Noel).
The series, which comes from Courtney A. Kemp, the creator of the Power franchise, promises to be a "hard-hitting" psychological crime drama that introduces viewers to a world of high-stakes action and daring burglary.
If, like me, you love a gripping, action-packed cat-and-mouse thriller like Killing Eve and Luther, then Nemesis could be one to add to your watchlist. Find out more below…
What is Nemesis about?
The series follows two men on different sides of the law and tells what happens when an unstoppable force (an expert criminal) meets an immovable object (a brilliant police detective).
The synopsis continues: "What starts as a subversion of the heist genre, amped by thrilling life-or-death stakes, family dynamics, and explosive action, becomes an exploration of what drives us, sustains us, and ultimately destroys us."
Who stars in Nemesis?
Matthew Law (Abbott Elementary, Ahsoka) leads the cast as Isaiah Stiles, alongside Y'lan Noel (Lady in the Lake, Insecure) as Coltrane Wilder.
They're joined by Cleopatra Coleman (Black Rabbit) as Ebony Wilder, Tre Hale (All American) as Darren 'Stro' Stroman, Domenick Lombardozzi (The Wire) as Dave Cerullo, Jonnie Park (Quiz Lady, Power) as Chris Choi, Ariana Guerra (CSI: Vegas) as Yvette Cruz and Gabrielle Dennis (The Big Door Prize) as Candace Stiles.
