After sparking concern about her appearance while hosting the BBC News at One earlier this week, Nina Warhurst took to social media to address her followers.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot what appeared to be a stye on the 45-year-old's left eyelid, with one fan asking on X: "Nina. Is your left eye okay??" while another added, "@NinaWarhurst hoping your eye is ok?"
© BBCThe BBC Breakfast star wasted no time in reassuring her fans, posting an update to her Instagram Stories. "Thanks for the concerned msgs about my asymmetrical mush," the broadcaster wrote.
"I'm in no pain or discomfort, and my lovely pharmacist is helping - left eye just needs a few days off makeup."

Nina first joined the BBC back in 2010 as a presenter for East Midlands Today. Since then, she has been a regular face on BBC Breakfast and has served as the programme's business and consumer correspondent, as well as a stand-in anchor.
Since March last year, Nina has been a lead presenter of the BBC's flagship lunchtime news bulletin, BBC News at One. Sharing the news on social media at the time, Nina revealed that she'd be stepping back from her role on BBC Breakfast.

"I'll be hanging up the high-viz and hairnet for a wee while as I join the BBC's News at One," she penned on social media, before reflecting on her seven years working for the morning news programme.
"The second photo was almost exactly seven (!) years ago. I was heavily pregnant, very nervous, and unbelievably excited to be offered a few shifts on the national broadcast treasure that is @bbcbreakfast … @stephlunch took time to show me the ropes and help me feel at home," she continued, adding that her role on the show was made permanent after the coronavirus lockdown, when the nation was "wondering how we might pick up the pieces to heal and live again".

"Our London colleagues built a gem of a lunchtime programme and I can't wait to work with our amazing team as we take it forward," she penned, adding that she'll still be "popping up on the red sofa" as a presenter.
Nina's family life
Nina, who hails from Manchester, is married to Ted Fraser, who works as a caterer.

Nina and Ted are proud parents of three children: Digby, who was born in 2016, Michael, who arrived two years later, and Nance, whom the pair welcomed in the summer of 2023.
