Australian actor Luke Bracey steps into the iconic role of Pa Ingalls in Netflix's revival of Little House on the Prairie. The cherished book series, which draws its inspiration from the real-life experiences of author Laura Ingalls Wilder, was famously adapted for television in 1974, starring Michael Landon, Karen Grassle and Melissa Gilbert.
Spanning eight episodes, the retelling chronicles the journey of the Ingalls clan as they move across the American West during the 1870s and 80s, driven by their hopes for a better life.
Reflecting on what drew him to the role, the 37-year-old told Netflix: "My favorite thing about Charles is that he's a good bloke. That's all I hope to be in life."
