What is Granite Harbour about?
In season one, Lance Corporal Davis Lindo arrives in Aberdeen to train as a Detective Constable for Police Scotland, having completed his final tour with the Royal Military Police. He quickly finds an ally in his mentor, DCI Tara 'Bart' Bartlett, a streetwise Aberdeen native, and the pair form an unlikely partnership as they investigate the murder of a local oil magnate.
The second series saw the crime-solving duo delve into two fatal cases linked to Aberdeen's shipping industry and drug underworld.
What happens in season 3?
In season three, the duo investigate a murder case that threatens to divide communities and unearth long-buried secrets. When the body of teenage café worker Lisa Sterling is found at the bottom of a ravine, what initially appears to be a tragic accident is quickly confirmed as murder.
The synopsis continues: "DCI MacMillan (Dawn Steele) and her team begin to investigate, but they are under more pressure than ever before. Following the fallout from their previous high-profile case, Chief Constable Alan Willis (John Gordon Sinclair) has ordered an investigation by the Special Police Investigations Service (SPIS).
"Just as the team appear to be closing in on answers, a shocking discovery forces them to question everything they thought they knew about Lisa's murder, leaving Lindo and Bart facing a far darker mystery than they first imagined."
