Brad Pitt is booked and busy right now. The 62-year-old actor, who is currently promoting his new survival thriller movie, Heart of the Beast, has a string of projects in the works. This includes Edward Berger's psychological thriller, The Riders, which is already generating Oscar buzz.
The Fight Club actor was pictured shooting the upcoming film in Amsterdam back in March – and he looked almost unrecognizable.
Brad sported long, unkempt hair and a salt and pepper beard while donning a thick jumper and textured jacket in photos taken from the set of the film. It follows an Australian man who embarks on a frantic search across Europe when his wife mysteriously vanishes.
In a close-up snap, Brad is seen with a bloody scratch above his left eyebrow and red marks on his cheeks. If the behind-the-scenes photos are anything to go by, audiences are in for a tense watch!
What is The Riders about?
The A24 film follows an Australian man named Scully who traverses Europe with his young daughter, Billie, in a desperate search for his wife.
The movie was filmed across multiple locations in Ireland, Greece and Europe.
The film is adapted from Tim Winton's Booker-nominated 1994 novel, which follows Fred Scully and his family as they buy an old farmhouse in Ireland. While Scully spends weeks renovating the house, his wife Jennifer returns to Australia to prepare for the move and liquidate their assets. But when Scully arrives at the airport to pick up his wife and seven-year-old daughter, Billie, only Billie gets off the plane. With no explanation from Jennifer, Scully's life suddenly falls apart.
