Kathy Coleman became a regular fixture on American TV screens during the 1970s thanks to her starring role in the hit children's adventure series, Land of the Lost. The former actress, now 64, captured hearts as Holly Marshall, instantly recognizable by her signature blonde pigtails and red-checkered shirt.
The series follows the Marshall family, who find themselves trapped in a 'lost world' of prehistoric creatures, from dinosaurs to lizard creatures. The show, which also starred Wesley Eure, Spencer Milligan and Phillip Paley, became a cult classic during its three-season run on NBC from 1974 to 1976.

Kathy Coleman's life away from Hollywood
Four years after Land of the Lost ended, Kathy decided to step away from Hollywood.
At the age of 18, the actress tied the knot and moved to Fallon, Nevada, where she worked on her father-in-law's "gigantic" dairy farm.

"Because my father-in-law owned the ranch, we were brought in, and we started at the bottom of the totem pole. We had to learn everything. You messed up, God help you," revealed the former actress, who did everything from feeding and milking the cows to working the hay.
Reflecting on growing up in the limelight, Kathy revealed that she experienced "all the same heartaches and hardships that any other teenager or woman goes through." "My life changed, but I was also a responsible soul," she shared. "I learned to love myself. You can’t survive this industry without learning to love yourself."

The pair, who live close to one another, often travel the country together to meet fans at conventions.
