Meet Rocky siren Talia Shire's famous family - from her five-time Oscar winning brother to her three children who all followed her into Hollywood

Talia is the sister of Francis Ford Coppola, who is considered one of the most influential filmmakers in history. He has won five Oscars and numerous other accolades for his films, which include The Godfather and Apocalypse Now. 

The siblings worked together on The Godfather II and III, which was directed and produced by Francis and starred Talia as Connie Carleone.

Talia's other brother was August Coppola, whose son is Nicolas Cage. Another successful actor, Nicolas won the Best Actor Oscar in 1996 for his film, Leaving Las Vegas. 

Alongside a long-running film career, Nicolas has often made headlines for his love life, which has included marriages to Patricia Arquette and Lisa Marie Presley.

Proving that filmmaking runs in the family, Francis Ford Coppola's daughter Sofia has also enjoyed huge Hollywood success. After starring as a child actress in some of her dad's films, Sofia moved behind the camera and has directed films such as The Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation, for which she won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Sofia is married to musician Thomas Mars and the pair are parents to two daughters, Romy and Cosima.

Talia is a mom to three sons, who have all followed her into Hollywood. Her eldest son, Matthew Shire, is a television producer and writer. Meanwhile, her sons Robert and Jason Schwartzman, from her second marriage to Jack Schwartzman are both actors.

Jason has starred in movies like The Grand Budapest Hotel and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, while you may remember Robert as Michael Moscovitz in The Princess Diaries or as the frontman of the band Rooney.
