Pregnant Doutzen Kroes has opened up about her hopes for her unborn daughter. "Instead of saying, 'You're so beautiful, I'll say, 'You're smart,' so she'll have different aspirations in life than beauty and modelling," the supermodel told Page Six.
"Though I love my job, I'm not changing the world. I'd love for her to study and have different aspirations. "We need to teach girls they can become presidents, and it's not about beauty all the time. "Doutzen is a Victoria's Secret Angel. She started working for the hugely successful lingerie brand in 2004 and earned her Angel wings in 2008.
She is also the face of L'Oréal. In 2012, Doutzen came in fifth on the Forbes top-earning models list, estimated to have earned $6.9million in one year.
The model, who is due to give birth later this year, took to Instagram in February to announce the happy news that she was pregnant.
The blonde beauty shared a nude photo of herself showing off a blossoming baby bump.
She started dating Sunnery in 2009 and the pair tied the knot in November 2010 in her hometown of Oostermeer in the Netherlands.
The 29-year-old already has a three-year-old son Phyllon with her DJ husband Sunnery James.
"This is not a #throwbackthursday this is now! So happy to share with you that we are expecting," she wrote alongside the image.
