Autumn is upon us, bringing with it a whole host of gorgeous new beauty trends to play with, and this season there's one hair craze that's particularly caught our attention – pumpkin spice hair.

This look involves dyeing your tresses varying shades of red and auburn for an ombré effect, in homage to autumn's most popular fruit, and it's been taking the beauty world by storm.

We take a look at some of our favourite styles to give you some major hair inspiration…

We love the way @lechandeliersalon have added hints of blonde to master the transition from summer to autumn.

We're loving the way @arabelladecadenet has stuck to one pale shade for a natural-looking and eye-catching finish.

Show off the balayage effect with a wavy hairstyle like @salon202.

Add some pale copper lowlights like @rachelrockshair for a subtle yet striking contrast to bolder red shades.

A high gloss finish like the one done by @studiomehair makes for a sleek style, ideal if you're going on a glamorous night out!

If you have darker tresses, you might want to consider a dip-dye effect like @ashleyjoaldoeshair to test out the look.
