Michelle Keegan revealed her bridal make-up was her favourite look of 2015

The former Coronation Street star shared a candid snap of herself with her 2.3million Instagram followers, showing off her glossy hair and flawless complexion as she finished putting the final touches to her look before tying the knot with Mark in a fairytale ceremony exclusively covered by HELLO! magazine in May 2015.

"My favourite look of 2015," she wrote alongside the photo. "Thank you @krystal_iammakeup and @lisalaudat1 xxx."

Michelle, who looked sensational on her big day, opted for barely-there make-up save for a hint of matte lipstick and a touch of black eyeliner. She also chose to wear her tresses in a chic half-up half-down style with tumbling waves, complementing her stunning bespoke ivory wedding gown by Galia Lahav at Browns Bride.

"Michelle and I had discussed the wedding hair by pulling inspiration from our favourite hair icons," hairstylist Lisa Laudat, who created Michelle's look, told HELLO! in an exclusive chat.

"Up until the last minute it could have been up or down, but after seeing the dress I suggested soft luxe waves framing her face, with her hair gently pulled back on the top to create height and structure.

"I achieved this look by applying Aveda's Phomollient Styling Foam and then doing a gorgeous blow out to keep the hair looking glossy for the all day celebrations. I then sectioned off the hair, backcombed at the root and pinned everything in to place all ready for the veil which completed the look."
