"I use ordinary make-up products like eyeshadows, eyeliners… nothing special," she told us exclusively. "I choose good products that are high quality and pigmented, and it's very important to me that they be cruelty free."

She added: "I also use a lot of face-painting watercolours. I use ordinary make-up brushes as well as painting brushes for the really tiny details. In my work, I sometimes combine other materials like wax, rhinestones, strings, aluminium foil and even salt."

There's no doubt that Tal is making her mark on the world of beauty – she already counts over 268,000 followers on Instagram. Having studied visual communication for four years – which includes illustration, design and photography – Tal revealed she had a "hard time" deciding which path to follow, explaining her eye-artistry "was a way of mixing all of my passions together".

Tal explained that her designs can take any time between 1.5 to five hours, but that "the average is about three hours".

When looking for inspiration, Tal confessed she just looks for "things that I find interesting in this world". "It can be movies, books, musicals, favourite food, animals, or even social matters like anti-bullying or pet adoption awareness," she said.

Confessing that she doesn't have a specific beauty icon, Tal admitted there is one star whom she would love to work with.

"If I had to do make-up for a celebrity I guess I would choose someone like Lady Gaga," she said, adding that she thinks the singer is "very inspiring" and would make a great client who would give her "artistic freedom".
