Sophie Turner rocked a series of tattoos on Monday night
The 20-year-old initially sparked speculation that she had gone for a series of inkings, but she has since revealed that they are actually fake tattoos, for her upcoming film Huntsville. Sophie took to Instagram to set the record straight, sharing a photo from her night out. "I had a blast! Thanks @variety (tats are fake)," she wrote to her 3.4 million followers.
Sophie first gave fans a glimpse at the designs in a striking photo where she posed by the side of a pool, in the water. The actress sent her fans into a frenzy with the snap, which saw her arms covered in various patterns, including a wolf pattern.

Some followers immediately began asking if the wolf design was a nod to her role in Game of Thrones, as Sophie's character Sansa Stark belongs to a house whose family sigil is a wolf.
Sophie recently shocked fans when she dyed her hair platinum blonde
It's not the first time since wrapping up the last season of the fantasy TV show that Sophie has surprised her fans with a different look. The British beauty caused a social media frenzy earlier this year when she revealed she had dyed her trademark fiery red locks a shade of platinum blonde.
Her new hair colour marked a major change for the star, who has been rocking auburn tresses for her role as Sansa ever since she began filming for the series. "I did a thing….." she simply captioned the snap, which saw her legions of followers immediately praising her new look and commenting that she looked completely different.
