Rita Ora has made a statement with a new beauty look. Embracing the colour blocking trend, Rita, 27, showcased her neon blue eyeshadow in a recent social media post. The Your Song singer looked sensational as she paired the bold eyeshadow with nude lips, chunky gold hoop earrings, and a vibrant orange jumper and blazer combo. Rita showed off her new glam for the press day of her and Liam Payne's new single For You, which is part of the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack. The striking look proved to be a hit with fans on Twitter, with some calling it a "masterpiece"& and "simply stunning."

This isn't the first time Rita has stepped out in neon. At last year's Teen Choice Awards, she teamed a Barbie pink silk wrap dress with matching lipstick and bright lemon yellow highlights in her hair.

The 27-year-old star is not the only celebrity to have embraced the funky trend recently. Proving neon makeup is no longer stuck in the 80s, Bella Hadid, Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Stone and Willow Smith have all rocked stylish blue eyeshadow and helped this bold trend become cool again.

Hayley Steinfeld also sported this look to the Grammy's over the weekend, stealing the show with eye-catching blue eyeshadow, a sweeping strapless white gown and purple metallic boots.

Meanwhile, Rita wowed in another spectacular makeup look at the awards ceremony, adding a touch of old Hollywood glamour. Always a fan of a bold lip, the popstar wore Rimmel London lipstick in a stunning shade of scarlet, teamed with a structured black velvet Ralph and Russo Couture gown and a white rose in solidarity with the Time's Up movement against sexual harassment.
